Godwin Osemeahon Omoaka

Chairman

A lawyer by profession, Godwin is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution and Tax Group at Templars (a top tier commercial law firm in Nigeria). He is a well respected Alternative Dispute Practitioner whose area of specialization is international commercial arbitration and mediation. Godwin has mediated high end commercial and family related disputes. He has  also acted as counsel in several  mediation sessions.

Godwin is a CEDR Accredited Mediator, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitration (UK), a  Fellow of the Institute  of Chartered Mediators and Concilators. He is presently the Institute’s Lagos Branch Chair. Godwin is a Member of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the Lagos Court of Arbitration, the Lagos Chamber of Commerce International Arbitration Centre. He has attended, and spoken at,  conferences/seminars on dispute resolution.

Chinyere Onyemenam

Vice Chairman

Chinyere Angela Onyemenam, a legal practitioner, accredited mediator and arbitrator, graduated in 1987 from the University of Nigeria.

After brief stints in Banking and legal practice, she joined National Oil and Chemical Marketing PLC as the Assistant Company Secretary in 1991.

She was elected as an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, London in 1999 and acquired a Masters in Business Administration in the same year.

Mrs. Onyemenam left National Oil in 1999 after having served in different capacities including the legal department and human resources department to become the Corporate Services Director at Bridgeways DPG Ltd., a company with a wide portfolio in Real Estate Development, Project and Facility Management, and Manufacturing.

Mrs. Onyemenam is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC) and a member of  The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK).

Coupled with her experience in corporate governance and human resource management, Mrs. Onyemenam has had a number of successful entrepreneurial ventures, which has given her the very wide perspective necessary for effective dispute resolution.

MRS. ELIANA MARTINS NEE IFAN

Mrs. Eliana Martins attended Corona Primary School, Bukuru, Jos, Plateau State and  graduated from the primary School in 1976, following which she then attended secondary school at Saint Louis College Jos, Plateau State where she obtained her WAEC/GCE O’Levels in 1981. Thereafter Eliana Martins attended the University of Jos, Plateau State where she studied Law and graduated in 1986 with a Bachelor of Laws, Degree (LLB) Hons. Having completed her University Education, in 1986 she left Jos for Lagos where she attended the Nigerian Law School, Victoria Island, Lagos and was awarded the Certificate of Call to the Nigerian Bar, (BL)] in 1987.

Mrs. Eliana Martins then proceeded to serve her NYSC as State Counsel, in the DPP’s Division, Lagos State Ministry of Justice, Alausa, Ministry of Justice, Alausa. Subsequently she worked for several years in different capacities, as Counsel and Managing Counsel in Chambers, Legal Officer in some private companies, Company Secretary and Legal Adviser for a consortium of companies and gained a lot of experience.

Mrs Martins then attended the Post Graduate School, University of Lagos Akoka, Yaba, Lagos between 1998 – 1999 where she gained her Master of Laws, Degree (LLM)]. Mrs Martins is a strong believer of continuous education, and has continuously attended numerous training courses both in Nigeria and overseas.

As a Legal Practitioner who was called to the Nigerian Bar some 31 years ago, she has been exposed to diverse experiences in both the public and the private sectors in practice areas including: commercial/corporate, criminal & civil matters, finance, property matters, oil & gas, contracts, labour, Maritime and Shipping, Power, family & Estate matters and so forth. She is the Principal Eliana Martins & Co, Solicitors & Advocates

She is an Accredited and Chartered Mediator and Conciliator, and is currently a Fellow of the highly prestigious Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators of Nigeria (ICMC). Indeed Mrs Eliana Martins is the current Secretary of the Lagos State Chapter of ICMC.

She is very passionate about all matters that affect the rights, protection and interests of the vulnerable groups particularly women and children. This interest led her to joining the International Federation of Women Lawyers, Nigeria (FIDA Nigeria), Lagos State Branch FIDA where she served FIDA in several capacities including pioneer branch PRO, Vice Chairperson of the branch; and between 2013 -2016, Mrs Martins served as Chairperson of FIDA LAGOS

Eliana Martins has also served as a Board Member of the Catholic Lagos Ecclesiastical Provincial Health Board. She is a patron of several groups including the Catholic Youths Organization of Nigeria (CYON), The Queen of Angels Choir, and JDPC (St Agnes Maryland). She is the recipient of several awards, professionally, from the church, and generally from service and philanthropic groups in the society

As a Roman Catholic she is very active in Church and has served in different church associations in various capacities. She was the Pioneer National President of the association of Catholic Sisters United in Christ and is the current CSU Lagos Archdiocesan President .

She is furthermore blessed to be a wife and a mother.

Alexander Ifeanyi Chiaha

Alexander Chiaha is a real estate consultant, vibrant leader, entrepreneur and married. A graduate of marketing ESUT 1998 and part of student union leadership. Served at Accountant General of federation ‘s HR office in 2000. Thereafter worked with an Italian export company as country representative 2000-2005, joined Conoco Phillips Oil 2005- 2008,  and in 2008-009 studied MSC International Business Management at Huddersfield university UK. Worked with west one UK till 2008-2012. He has been in Chain fortunes ltd till date  – a Logistic, and Real Estate firm.

Having spent about 18 years in private business practice, he has cut across multicultural societies, he plays chess, writes and speaks English fluently. He is also a human activist, teacher and executive member of justice development peace commission JDPC and loves motivating people. Mr Chiaha is so much interested in creating a peaceful environment and compliance to equity and good governance that he enrolled in ICMC 2017 and qualified as associate and executive member. He is out to ensure that the justice department in Nigeria gives honour to chartered mediators.

Ambrose Igboke

Public Relations Officer

Ambrose Igboke is quintessential and professional Broadcaster, Documentary Producer/Researcher/Scriptwriter, Radio and TV Programme Producer/Presenter, Public Affairs Analyst, Chartered Mediator, Public Relations Practitioner and Master of Ceremony.

He holds a Master of Arts Degree and Bachelor of Arts Degree respectively, in Mass Communication, from the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Because of his love for peace and zeal to deepen cordial relationship among Nigerians, he was trained as Chartered Mediator and Conciliator to engender amicable resolution of disputes through mediation.

Ambrose is a member of professional and public interest organizations. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Mediator and Conciliator (ICMC),  Associate Member of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), member of the Guild of  Public Analysts of Nigeria, Member, Nigerian Union of Journalists and Special Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).

His practice in media, public relations and community development has impacted positively in the national discourse. Over the years, he has appeared as a Public Analyst on radio and television stations and also participated in the production of many documentaries, radio/television programmes, jingles and commercials, as well as public relations projects.

He began his broadcasting career at the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), where he was a segment producer and presenter on the popular morning programme – A.M. EXPRESS. He was also part of the Rediscover Nigeria production team that produced the documentary on Nigeria for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), held in Abuja in 2003. After a short stint, he went ahead to establish his own production outfit.

Ambrose Igboke is currently the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Kigam Business Services Limited, an integrated media production, business and marketing firm in Lagos, Nigeria. He is the Executive Producer/Anchor, PROPERTY SQUARE; an all inclusive real estate programme on radio.

She is a seasoned private legal practitioner with cognate experience of over three decades in diverse areas of Law.

A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators, bringing several years of experience in Mediation practice.

She has been involved in mediation trainings, and practice at the Lagos Multi-door Courthouse, Legal clinic of the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), amongst others.

A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (UK & Nigeria) and Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), Nigeria Branch.

She is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), amongst others.

Ogechi Okoye-Oti

Ogechi Okoye-Oti is an experienced professional service provider of Alternative Dispute Resolution. Life Coaching Counsellor and Resources Management.

Her education background is in Psychology, Management and Law to a Masters level.

Over the years she works with clients to resolve a wide range of internal and external conflicts and providing positive constructive tools for peacekeeping or buildings and management.

She is the Head of Practice at Mind-Setco, a Practice dedicated to ADR and the development of relationships and the all-round improvement of one’s self. She is also responsible for the resources management of OTI Group of Companies.

She has worked with industry leaders in the Mental Health, Hospitality, Insurance, Customer Service, Business and Resources Management, Legal, amongst others.

She Joined the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC) in 2016 and has since been a fully active member. She is also a member of Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (NICA) since 2017 and The Lagos Court of Arbitration (LCA) since 2018.

Chioma Afuba

Afuba Chioma .S. is a certified and seasoned Mediator.

With a background in English Language, she applies exceptional Reflective skills during Mediation. She is very passionate about ADR especially family

related disputes. She has equally mediated several commercial disputes too.

She is currently the Business Development Director of Patrobas Nigeria Ltd. A Logistics and Printing Company.
